Low VOC, Low Odor, and Mold Resistance Product Performance
Mold & Mildew Resistance – Products that are mold and/or mildew resistant contain an additive designed to inhibit the growth of mold and mildew on dried paint film only.
Low Odor – Low odor products meet odor testing standards in order to achieve Green Wise Certification (greenwisepaint.com) by the Coating Research Group Inc. CRGI Test Method 78.
Low VOC – Low VOC products have been tested to ASTM method D6886 and meet or exceed current OTC VOC standards (www.otcair.org). VOC testing is performed on product formulation prior to application. The product may produce emissions and odors during application, curing, and for some time afterward. Depending upon color choice, non-zero VOC colorant added to this product may significantly increase VOC levels.
